Mmmm, coffee… Label Label Detail of label Back label Photography fun

A design for a line of coffee submitted to the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless. The Coalition employees homeless Chicagoans to pack and distribute coffee to raise money for the organization. These labels, kept to two-color designs to keep the costs reasonable for the not-for-profit, were designed to lift the look of the packaging to the level of other brands in the supermarket. “Perk Up” was chosen for its positive message and its double entendre (percolate, per cup). I poured coffee beans on my scanner to create the pile of beans in the background.
