Ian, I'm just a satisfied customer (nothing else!), think Gridelicious is cool but I would like something directly in indesign - that is why I like it. The newsletter has given me some good tips but it's like the apple vs. windows i guess, some hate it some like it and i'm one of those that like and support it.

@John I bet you are the guy from Grid Calculator and not some random user costumer. I can easily spot you from a mile. I am your costumer so I can easily see that you are using the same bullshit language I have already seen on your fake newsletters I keep getting every couple of days. You are spamming anywhere and everywhere about your wonderful solution all day long. We are even provided with same fake tips just to hide the real nature of advertising and numerous quotes as some sort of the ridiculous brainwashing mantra "Spend 300$ now!".

Thx you Arlo so much on development of Gridelicious!

That plugin is really what I've been waiting for a longtime, I don't mind the price at all, as a matter a fact I did some research on how much plugins cost and turns out it's a normal price. I realized that I saved so much time by using the plugin that doing it manually is just stupid.

Anyway, I took their little test and found out that I would save/earn way more then I would ever spend on it, so it finances itself.

Did you see their test?

Hi,

Cool app there, grid calculator by designers bookshop does have inches, I guess maybe you were talking about an old version or something.

they've launched an easy to use plugin for indesign, much nicer to use then copy and paste numbers, if you value your time then it's the way to go.

here the link:

Sigurdur:

Change the dropdown labeled "Grid Block Proportion" from "page" to "square."

If you don't see that dropdown, try emptying your browser cache.

Hi.

How does one turn Gridelicious to even-sided grid units as v.5 is supposed to be able to do? (As opposed to the proportional grid unites)

Hey Arlo,

Dont know how to thank you for this lil app!! Though I dont code myself, I recently got a friend of mine to program these calculations for me into a small app and here I find uve already executed it successfully!! I totally agree that it is overpriced, but as you have already highlighted, I really appreciate the process and drive behind the grid calculator and completely support it. The pro-edition is a plugin for indesign so I hope its more useful for creating finer, complex grids.
The entire hunt to understand the calculations bought me to your website and app. Keep up the great work!!
